I’ve been in Tokyo, Japan since 2001. In 2002 I began training foreign and domestic governments' employees, global corporations, large and small businesses and, as importantly, individuals who truly want to improve their skills.
We train in cross-cultural/multicultural communications, project management, specific topics including time management.
I have provided project consulting at multiple levels.

I taught over 2 thousand professionals from all over the world in classrooms, seminars, workshops and special presentations. .

Focus is applying techniques and management methodologies that people use in their workplace.

Prior to working in Japan, I was a director and project manager in lead technical positions since 1978.

Honing my skills as project manager in title and role since 1978, learning from successes and mistakes, has taught me valuable lessons to pass on about what works best, what has definable measurable risks, what  doesn't work and how to apply measures with the highest chance of success.

I've hired staff and worked beside associates from around the world since I first became a project manager. Many associates have been very high profile, and I got to learn from their experiences.

I saw first hand the productive advantages of management by leadership, unique individual motivation, how it all works in the vast array of workplace environments.

Experience based training means we deliver practical training and project assistance. Though we cover definition of methodologies in as much detail as clients demand, JLBC is unique, in that it is not a case study textbook course

I found myself back in America in May 2020.

American friends in the business revealed  a great need to help foreign professionals and their families adjust to work and life while on assignment in America. Coincidentally, preparing professionals for their overseas assignments in the west was the focus of my seminars before I set up my US operations.

I offer training to anyone on assignment in America to to create an efficient, less stressful workplace and have confidence joining after work activities.

US businesses sending expats overseas, suppliers ad affiliates will benefit knowing what partners expect.

PLEASE NOTE: I registered JLBC.LLC in Japan in 2015. with covid came inactivity and that Japanese registration expired. 

I registered in Ohio, USA in 2022. The name JLBC.LLC and registration of JLBC.co.jp domain were registered by a different company in 2021, and is not affiliated with my company in any way.
